To the Market

For me, my childhood memories echo through sun-drenched French provincial towns. This painting of my son as he is carried through the morning streets of Realmont is interlaced with my own nostalgia. Strong shadows cast on bright streets, the smells and clammer of summer markets, and the steady warmth of a parental embrace.
